Beginner Ceramics: Explore Handbuilding and Pottery Wheel - Saturday 17 May 10:00 - 13:00

In this introductory ceramics workshop, you'll explore the basics of both handbuilding and pottery wheel throwing—perfect for those trying out ceramics for the first time. We’ll guide you through essential handbuilding techniques and give you the opportunity to try the pottery wheel as well.

During the workshop, we aim to create two unique pieces: one using handbuilding and one on the wheel. You’ll have the freedom to choose what you want to make—whether it’s a mug, bowl, or something entirely unique.

Once your pieces are shaped, we’ll fire and glaze them for you. After a few weeks, you’ll be able to pick them up or have them shipped to you. The workshop includes clay, tools, materials, glazes, and two firings, along with coffee/tea and snacks. 

We work in small groups of 2-6 people, so there’s plenty of space to learn at your own pace. A few days before the workshop, you’ll receive an email with all the details and additional information.

You can cancel up to 14 days before the workshop free of charge. After that, the full amount will be charged, even if you don't attend. If you’re unable to attend, you may have someone else take your place—just let me know in advance! If I need to cancel the workshop, you’ll be informed as soon as possible and, of course, receive a full refund.
